FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Third party fundraising events are activities conducted by individuals or other organizations with the purpose of raising money to benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) in which the Memorial Fund is listed as a beneficiary of the proposed event.

The following individuals and/or organizations have generously decided to take the time to hold an event on behalf of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and A Matter of Honor: The Campaign to Support the National Law Enforcement Museum. ATF Untouchables Golf Classic
Proceeds from the Untouchables Golf Classic help cover the annual costs of adding new names to the Memorial and to support other important programs.

Burgert/Van Kuren "A Run to Remember"
All proceeds will be disseminated to C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, whose purpose is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of Law Enforcement Officers.

Finest Golf Society Tournament
Hosts an annual event in the New York City area to support the NLEOMF.

International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association
Over the past four years, they have helped raise over $15,000 from an annual doughnut eating championship. In 2008, ILEETA is also sponsoring the 2008 ILEETA Flatfoot Five - 5K Fun Run/Walk with all proceeds split between the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and The ILEETA Scholarship Fund. http://www.ileeta.org/

Kelly-Poormon Golf Classic
All proceeds from this event to benefit the Kelly Family College Fund, the Kenneth A. Poormon Scholarship Fund, the National Law Enforcement Officers Museum and the Trooper Foundation Survivor’s Fund.
